An enchanting historic inn, the Robert Morris Inn in Oxford, Maryland, offers a truly captivating experience. the beautifully restored rooms, personally appointed by my partner and featuring unique historic decor, provided a cozy retreat. the Salter's Tap Room & Tavern, with its rustic charm, was the perfect spot for casual dining, surrounded by brick walls and wood beams. the full homemade breakfast was a delightful start to each day, with a variety of delicious meals created by the talented chef-partner, Mark Salter. Being able to dock our boat right at the inn was so convenient, allowing us to explore the Tred Avon River easily. the staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our anniversary celebration even more special. the location along the river offered stunning views and a sense of tranquility, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Staying at this historic gem was truly a memorable experience, one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a blend of history, comfort, and exceptional service in a beautiful setting.
